  • BVI guaranteed three LIAT flights per day
    ROAD TOWN, BVI: The British Virgin Islands is to get at least three daily flights with LIAT airline between Tortola and San Juan, Puerto Rico. An agreement to this effect was signed on Monday between LIAT and the BVI government. Signing on behalf of the BVI was Minister Julian Fraser.

    NEW YORK, USA (Bloomberg): Next year’s Atlantic hurricane season will be “somewhat above-average,” with 14 named storms, according to an annual Colorado State University forecast released Wednesday. Seven of the storms are predicted to become hurricanes, including three major storms.
